What do groups do?
Some discipleship groups are your "classics" that meet to read a book of the Bible and dig deeper. Others reflect the interests of the group and incorporate an activity and prayer.
When do groups meet?
Some groups meet weekly for months and only break for summer or holidays.. Others pop up for a season or to meet a specific need (we like to call these sprint groups)!
How do I get connected with a group?
Because groups start and stop with regularity, there is always an on-ramp for new people to join! Email Pastor Mark to learn about the groups that are currently meeting.
What does it take to start a group?
The role of the ministry staff at Lazarus Church is to "equip the saints for the work of ministry" (Ephesians 4:12). We are here to be your resource.

Bible Study
Whether you're brand new to the Bible or seeking some accountability to read an entire book, this group gathers weekly for casual Bible discussion. Contact Bobby & Bruce for more information.
Bible Study
This home-based discipleship group is reading selections from the Gospel of John. Contact Mike/Dee or Dennis/Anna for more information.
Bible Study + Common Life Stage
This community discipleship group is studying the Gospel of Luke starting in January. Contact Pastor Mark or Wayne Muller for more information.
Bible Study + Common Interest
The "Staying on Target" group meets Monday morning, twice monthly for a devotion and encouragement to stay "on target" with the Lord. Friends welcome! Contact Jim Gibbs for more information.
Topical Study + Common Interest
This lunch-hour, book club style group for ladies met monthly to discuss one book per month.
Topical Study + Common Life State
This women's group meets for coffee, a devotion, and encouragement once a month. Friends welcome! Contact Laura Pulliam for more information.

This group is met every other Saturday during the summer for the book study: The Cup of Our Lives. Friends welcome!
Topical Study + Common Life Stage
"Common Bond" is a parent support group for parents of children struggling with their sexuality. Join us for encouragement and prayer with other parents of teens/adults who consider themselves part of the LGBTQ+ community. New people are always welcome! Contact Pastor Mark for more information.
