Imagine with us:
What if we stopped thinking about Vacation Bible School (VBS) as something big and started thinking about it as something small and easily replicated?
What if it was less like a production and more like a play date?
What if the goal was to invite 10 kids instead of 100 kids?
What if it took 2 hours to prepare instead of 2-4 months? (That really got us excited!)
What if you could choose the date and time that worked best for your family?
Join us in doing VBS differently!
Traditional "big" VBS can very easily turn into a resource hog for a small church so last year we asked the question: What would small VBS look like? In answer, we tested out a new tool for doing just that and heard some wonderful success stories as a result!
Bonnie Mordhorst has again assembled everything you need to host a mini-VBS for your kids, neighbors, friends from school or sports, etc. The VBS in a Box contains teaching materials and all the supplies you need to host VBS in your own backyard or living room (with minimal prep time required).
Our goal as a church is to connect people to Jesus, His church, and His kingdom calling for their lives.
Will you join us?
It will contain almost everything you need to host a fun event for your children and their friends and is FREE! Parents, grandparents, discipleship groups... anyone can sign up to host a VBS. Our vision is to see 10 small "VBS in a Box" events take place between June and August in our community.
